Our Mission

 Empowering Every Child Through Play

At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we specialise in creating enriching, inclusive programmes designed to support the development of all children, with a special focus on those who are neurodiverse. We believe in the power of play to unlock potential, enhance learning, and build lifelong skills. Through the Kindy Uplift (Queensland) and school readiness funding (Victoria), we offer Kindergarten's comprehensive, tailored programs that nurture every child’s unique abilities, helping them thrive in their own way.

Holistic Development for ALL children

Unlock Every  Child’s Full Potential with Kindy Uplift and School Readiness Funding

At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we provide evidence-based support for children in both Queensland’s Kindy Upliftprogram and Victoria’s School Readiness funding initiative. Our holistic approach, which integrates primitive reflex integration, ensures that children are not only prepared for school but thrive in every area of development—from emotional regulation and executive functioning to gross and fine motor skills.

Our sessions feel like a playful adventure where children engage in exciting and creative activities that build key school readiness skills while having fun. Whether it's music and dance, sensory-integrated yoga, or game-based learning, every activity is designed to stimulate learning, social development, and emotional growth. With our scientifically-backed approach, we ensure that your child is ready to face the challenges of school with confidence.

Transform Your Health Today

Our Unique Approach: Primitive Reflex Integration for School Readiness

What sets Neurodiverse Playhouse apart is our focus on primitive reflex integration, a scientifically proven method for improving emotional regulation, executive functioning, and motor development in children.

Primitive reflexes, which are automatic movements seen in infants, can affect a child’s ability to process information, perform motor tasks, and regulate emotions. When integrated properly, these reflexes help children build emotional resilience, improve focus, and master physical coordination—all essential skills for thriving in a classroom environment.

By incorporating primitive reflex integration into our play-based programs, we give children the tools they need to excel academically and socially. Our approach is grounded in science and designed to empower children to engage fully in their learning journey.

Fun and Engaging School Readiness Programs for Your Child

At Neurodiverse Playhouse, our Kindy Uplift and School Readiness programs are designed to feel like pure fun while encouraging growth and development. Our carefully curated sessions include a variety of activities that foster essential school skills, such as:

  • Music and Dance: Enhancing emotional expression and coordination.
  • Sensory-Integrated Yoga: Improving body awareness and self-regulation.
  • Obstacle Courses: Developing gross motor skills and problem-solving.
  • Art and Craft: Boosting creativity and fine motor skills.
  • Game-Based Learning: Building cognitive abilities and teamwork.
  • Role-Play and Imaginative Play: Strengthening social skills and emotional intelligence.

Children also benefit from open-ended play, problem-solving games, and nature-based play, which nurture creativity, critical thinking, and fine motor development. Our sensory play activities and movement-based exercises provide additional support for children with sensory needs or motor development challenges.

Why are our programs so important for children?

Understanding inclusion and Australian legislation

At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we firmly believe that inclusive programs are essential during the critical 3-5 year age group, a time when parents and educators often begin to identify neurodiversity and developmental delays in children.

Australian legislation, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005, mandates early childhood services and schools to provide inclusive education that addresses the diverse needs of all children.

Our Kindy Uplift and School Readiness programs are thoughtfully designed as a play-based adventure, creating an engaging and enjoyable environment where every child can thrive.

Research consistently demonstrates that early implementation of inclusive education leads to significantly improved outcomes for all children, fostering a profound sense of belonging and community (Rous et al., 2010; Odom et al., 2011). In our inclusive setting, children not only learn to appreciate and embrace diversity but also develop essential social skills, empathy, and confidence through playful exploration (Murray et al., 2015).

Our programs provide neurodiverse children with the early intervention and tailored support they need, while their peers cultivate vital skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and communication through shared play experiences (Baker et al., 2015). By fostering a nurturing environment where every child is recognised, valued, and supported, we lay a strong foundation for an inclusive society.

At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we are committed to ensuring that all children can embark on this exciting adventure together, building a brighter future for everyone.
