Primitive Reflex Integration
Welcome to Neurodiverse Playhouse, where every child’s unique abilities are celebrated and nurtured.
Our specialised programmes are designed to support neurodiverse children in a warm, inclusive environment that fosters growth, creativity, and confidence. We incorporate primitive reflex integration and social thinking into our child-led, play-based approach, creating a supportive space where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.
At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we believe in the power of tailored, holistic approaches that honour each child's individual strengths and emerging potential. Through a blend of therapy, play, and creative expression, we help children build essential skills while embracing their authentic selves.
Our focus on primitive reflex integration helps children achieve better motor control and cognitive function, while social thinking activities enhance their ability to navigate social interactions in a positive and meaningful way.
Join us on a journey where every child’s potential is recognised, valued, and empowered.
Meet Wally, our adorable guinea pig at Neurodiverse Playhouse! Wally is not just any guinea pig—he's a crucial part of our community here at the Playhouse.
He brings a host of benefits to our neurodiverse children, helping them in unique and meaningful ways. Wally provides a sense of calm and comfort. The simple act of petting Walls can have a soothing effect, helping to reduce anxiety and stress. His soft fur and gentle demeanour make him the perfect cuddle buddy. Interacting with Walls also helps improve social skills. Children learn how to approach him gently, ask questions about his care, and share their experiences with each other. This promotes communication and fosters friendships.
Wally encourages sensory exploration. From the feel of his fur to the sound of his gentle squeaks, children engage their senses in a safe and controlled environment. Wally brings pure joy and happiness. The bond formed between Wally and the children is heartwarming and creates a positive, inclusive atmosphere here at the Playhouse. He truly makes the Neurodiverse Playhouse a brighter, happier place for everyone. Can't wait for you to meet him soon!

As we gather at Neurodiverse Playhouse, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. We pay our respects to their elders, past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who may join us today.
We recognize the deep connection that First Nations peoples have to this land, its waters, and its communities, and we honor the rich and diverse cultures, languages, and traditions that have been passed down through generations.
At Neurodiverse Playhousee, we are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. We acknowledge the importance of cultural diversity and the contributions of all individuals to our shared community.
May we continue to learn from the wisdom of the traditional custodians of this land and work together towards reconciliation, understanding, and unity.
