Neurodiverse Playhouse Individual Therapy utilises a play-based, child-led approach that supports primitive reflex integration while celebrating each child's emerging potential and presuming competence.
Primitive reflexes, essential for early development, can sometimes remain active beyond infancy, impacting movement, emotional regulation, and sensory processing. Through purposeful, engaging play, children are guided to naturally integrate these reflexes, fostering greater body awareness, coordination, and self-regulation.
By following the child's lead and incorporating activities that align with their interests and strengths, therapy creates a joyful and empowering space for growth. This approach respects neurodivergent ways of learning and interacting, helping children build a strong foundation for emotional and cognitive development while unlocking their unique potential.

Neurodiverse Playhouse Group Therapy offers a dynamic space for children and adolescents to build social development skills through the Social Thinking approach. Designed for those who have progressed through our individual programs and are ready to engage in group settings, our programs focus on fostering essential social skills such as perspective-taking, self-regulation, and communication.
With a play-based, child-led structure, participants are supported in understanding and managing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in relation to others. By presuming competence and celebrating individual strengths, we create a safe and empowering environment where children and adolescents can practise these skills with peers.
By integrating primitive reflexes, our Child Therapy Programs in Art Therapy Brisbane help address foundational developmental patterns that may impact movement, behaviour, and emotional regulation. Integrating these reflexes enhances coordination, focus, and emotional resilience — supporting children to thrive in everyday life.
